The first drink of the day is a Jack and coke. I put four ice cubes in a tumbler and enough Jack that they float comfortably, and add some coke, then garnish with a camel. This is also the second drink of the morning. The third drink of the morning is similar, but minus an ice cube. When one moves into three ice cube territory, then one can surmise that one is having a fine Friday morning. Three ice cubes float much more comfortably than four, and if ice cubes had elbows the ice cubes would testify to the amount of elbow room in a three ice cube whiskey and coke in comparison to the four ice cube whiskey and coke. The camel is another swell pleasure. No smoker can dispute the pleasure of a camel straight.

He bound his sandals on to his comely feet,
girded his sword about his shoulder,
and left his room
