This fine heated afternoon I have decided to drink Tanqueray and Scweppes tonic. ‘I’m Lolita and this here’s Tanqueray,’ as she said on Beavis and Butthead. I have also dropped a few Collins Stuffed Queens olives into the mix. I am not sure if you are supposed to put olives in a gin and tonic, but I have done it nevertheless. I knew you could put an olive in a gin martini. I thought of making martinis, but recalled the last time I mixed martinis for myself and a girl named Sharleen that she ended up very ill, and I have not mixed a martini since. I was not very good at mixing martinis then but that was many years ago. Perhaps I will give it a go later.
